Since 2015, he essentially dropped cursing from his music. His first mixtape Foot In The Door sound reminiscent of Clipse / Tribe on some songs, as well as old soulful Kanye on some others. Style-wise, Oddisee’s rapping has consistently evolved throughout his career. Oddisee's breaking point (relative to the underground still) is probably between 20, where he released People Hear What The See, the instrumental album The Beauty in All, and Tangible Dream, which are all great projects and with songs like Own Appeal and Killin Time that are still his biggest to date. Oddisee has been making music for over a decade, his first mixtapes go as far back as 2005, and his first album available on a streaming platform, 102, was released in 2008.
